With profound humility and devotion, a collective of seekers and lovers of the Divine came together in selfless service to preserve and present the sacred manuscript Sri Martand Mahatmya.

Traditionally attributed to the Bhavisyat Purana, this revered text came into the care of the Core Sharada Team Foundation, where a dedicated group known as Sarada Sevakah undertook the meticulous task of transliterating the manuscript from the ancient Sharada Lipi into Devanagari. Through devoted effort and divine grace, the once hidden (Gupta) sacred text was subsequently translated into both Hindi and English, making its spiritual wisdom accessible to a wider circle of readers and seekers.

Sri Martanda Deva, revered as the radiant Sun deity, represents the sustaining force through which life functions and flourishes. In the tradition of Kashmiri Shaiva philosophy, Martanda is understood as Consciousness itself — the luminous principle that shines outward as the Sun and inward as awareness. This vision beautifully aligns with the doctrine of Spanda, the eternal pulsation of consciousness that is silent, radiant, and ever-present.

This work stands as a humble offering of devotion at the lotus feet of the Lord, preserving an important spiritual and cultural heritage of Kashmir for present and future generations.
